Weekend Worship – Raise A Hallelujah

Psalm 150:1 – Praise the Lord! Hallelujah!

Hallelujah is a Hebrew word which means “praise Yahweh”. Today is the first time I heard of this song and have meditated and reflected on the words. Singing “Hallelujah” despite our circumstances gives us hope that we will rise in victory, not because of our own strength but because God is going to fight the battle for us. Hallelujah also is a joyous boast of Yahweh’s great power and supremacy in our lives.

Bethel Community has also a powerful testimony on this when they were inspired to write the song. May this be the same inspiration to us all – those of us who are fighting our battles. God will not leave us nor forsake us – let us keep praising God for our help comes from the Lord the maker of heaven and earth.

Today, I speak blessings to all of us through this worship song and the testimony of the miracle healing of the baby Jaxon as we raise a Hallelujah to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, the Alpha and the Omega, the One who is and is to come forever and ever. Amen.
